Our Mission
At 2K Pilates we strive to provide a place to feel centered, connected and attuned to one’s body in a safe, supportive and healing environment. We have carefully curated a boutique studio with the highest quality equipment, in a bright airy space that invites students to leave the outside world at the door and devote an hour of your day to the greatest medicine of all…MOVEMENT.
Our Approach
Classical or Contemporary? Or somewhere in between?! Kari and Kat both bring many years of teaching and thousands of hours of training with the best Master teachers in the Pilates industry. We both value teaching the body in front of us on any given day and enjoy the therapeutic alliance that is formed between teacher and students which can be cultivated through a thoughtful movement practice. You will receive individualized attention in an intimate setting whether you are having a therapeutically inspired private session tailored to your specific needs or a rigorous classical Pilates small group equipment lesson.
Our Community
At 2K Pilates our goal is to bring both clients and teachers together in a warm, inviting space that is supportive of showing up and moving as you are on any given day. Our clients range from ages 17 to 87 and we are proud to serve the community of Berry Hill which has been a mainstay of the Nashville scene for many years. We are a meeting place for both clients who join together for small, intimate group classes as well as for teachers looking for a clean, quiet and beautiful space to rent and build a thriving business. We will also be hosting our own teachers from around the world and bringing some of the best continuing education in the Pilates industry to the Nashville area!
About the Founders
Katrina Rinne, DPT
Dr. Katrina has spent the last 20 years using Pilates as a therapeutic modality after training and mentoring under some of the industry’s most esteemed master teachers. Since graduating from physical therapy school in 2015 she has developed her own style of teaching therapeutic movement to her clients that integrates Pilates with functional movement sequencing in order to address the body’s inherent need for integrating strength, mobility AND motor control. She takes a biopsychosocial approach to physical therapy, integrating trauma informed care into every aspect of her work. Over the past 6 years Katrina has become a specialist in pelvic floor health as well as working with patients who have hypermobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (hEDS) and Hypermobility Spectrum Disorder (HSD). She is currently based out of Nashville at 2K Pilates but also maintains a small private practice in NYC.
Kari Gregg, NCPT
Kari has been inspiring others in their Pilates practice for over 10 years and has been moving the Nashville Pilates community since 2019.
Kari is a compassionate, creative teacher and a forever student. Her dedication to knowledge and intuition forms a teaching style that emphasizes the classical Pilates method but also incorporates contemporary thinking.
Kari has helped all ages and bodies regain their sense of awareness, strength, stamina and breath.
